History
The drink grew from an orange juice shop that opened in Los Angeles, California in 1926 by Julius Freed. Sales were initially modest, about $ 20 a day (equivalent to about $ 276 in 2017 dollars). In 1929, Bill Hamlin, Freed's real estate broker, developed a mixture that made orange juice less annoying to his stomach. Freed's stand starts serving drinks, which have a creamy and creamy texture. Sales at the booth increased substantially after the introduction of new beverages, up to $ 100 per day. People started lining up at the store and shouted, "Give me Orange, Julius!" Finally, the new drink will only be called "Orange Julius".
During the 1950s and 1960s, Orange Julius was sold in various outlets, including state and county fairs and free-standing Orange Julius. The original stand also provides a drug tonic and a Bible tractate.

Naming and mascots
Orange Julius was named the official drink of the 1964 New York World Expo.
In the 1970s and early 1980s, the Orange Julius beverage store used a demon image with a pitchfork, similar to Arizona State University's mascot, Sparky, around orange, with the slogan, "A Good Demon Drink." The company then dropped logos and slogans after the threat of a lawsuit from the ASU alumni association.
For a short time in the early 1970s, Orange Julius spread its wings to the British and Dutch markets, with a sizeable restaurant in Golders Green, selling Julius Burgers as well as classic orange drinks, and a small outlet in central Amsterdam. However, this has passed in the mid-70s.
Acquisitions
In 1987, the Orange Julius chain was purchased by the International Dairy Queen. IDQ, and with inclusion since 1999, Berkshire Hathaway, owns the rights to all Orange Julius stores, and has expanded the chain so that its drinks are put into many Dairy Queen beer stores, called the Treatment Center.
In 2004, Orange Julius launched its Smoothies Fruit Premium line to compete with smoothie competitors such as Jamba Juice and Smoothie King.
In 2012, Dairy Queen unveils the ranks of Orange Julius at his restaurant.
