Fictional character biography

Early and backward life

Bullseye grew up in the Bronx, where he lives with his brother and his rude father. His brother's main recreational form was to play with a rifle, leading Bullseye to become a gunman. When he was 10 years old, his brother lit a fire at their home in an unsuccessful attempt to kill their father. Shortly thereafter, Bullseye was placed in an orphanage, and became a baseball player in high school. Bullseye is a very talented pitcher, and offered a scholarship, but opted to go into the minor league. After three matches, he was called up to play a sold-out Major League game. He has given up not hitting the entire game, and on the ninth base with two points, he becomes bored and asks the coach to pull him off the game. The coach refused, and insisted that he finish the game. Batter opposing team taunted him, accusing him of cowardice. Bullseye threw the ball into his head, killing him. When the ball bounced, he said only one word: "Bullseye". She was banned from professional baseball and convicted for murder.

This is a retcon of the previous origin story of Elektra # 2, which describes Bullseye growing as a below-average student in a trailer park with a physically, physically abusive father. In this version of the show, Bullseye faked his father's suicide using a gun fired by a toy arrow. None or all elements of this version may be correct because it depicts his father as likely to recover from his recent divorce, fitting perfectly with Daredevil's ridicule in their confrontation during the "Hardcore" storyline.

His cool attitude and unique skills, however, meant the subsequent recruitment by the National Security Agency as an inevitable killer, and he was soon assigned to train the Contras in Nicaragua. By the time he arrived, however, he claimed to have planned to leave the NSA. He had planned to plunder Contra without a trace and run away, but soon found them very poor. Bullseye took advantage of the best situation: within seven hours of being informed of their poverty, he had led Contras to seize the landing strip used by Colombian cocaine traffickers as a staging venue before moving to the United States. Without using the airfield, smugglers can not send new shipments. Bullseye arranged for Paolo, his poor Nicaraguan translator, as the leader of the new power that controlled the airfield, and let the word spread. However, Paolo is just patsy. Bullseye plans to invite some organized crime heads to the airport to bridge the new deal with him as Paolo's "right-hand man". He would take their money and disappear, maybe leave Paolo to suffer the wrath of the Mafia, Russian Mafia, Yakuza, and various other criminal elements. However, before the deal can be settled, Punisher (Frank Castle) arrives.

Castle kills all organized crime leaders in a fiery explosion, which Bullseye almost escapes. Both are involved in a fierce battle in which Bullseye is able to injure Punisher and avoid or disable some of his weapons. Bullseye then used some blood-blooded mud to paint the bull's eyes on his forehead, mocking Castle's inability to hit him. The fight ended when the Drug Enforcement agent arrived, and Punisher escaped. Bullseye surrendered to D.E.A. agent and immediately assigned to infiltrate Kingpin's criminal kingdom. He got his costume, ran away again, and became one of the most dangerous assassins in the world.

All of the above information was given by Bullseye during subsequent interrogations by US intelligence. Just before escaping from custody, Bullseye confessed that he made some or all of his stories to amuse himself; for example, he claims that he really is the one who started a fire that burned his childhood home. The whole arrest was a plan by a hit man to gain access to the prison where his father was detained. Bullseye eventually avenged his father, letting him catch fire when the prison's security system burned everything inside.

Costumed criminal career

Battle of Bullseye (and defeat) Daredevil in the circus to build his reputation as a blackmailer. Shortly thereafter, Daredevil happened to hear it in the midst of extortion attempts and arrested him. Bullseye was then hired by Maxwell Glenn to kill Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson, and Daredevil intervened. Although Bullseye defeated him again, Daredevil escaped with his life, and Bullseye's professional reputation broke down as a result. Seeking to regain his credibility, he challenged Daredevil on live television, but he lost a landslide.

Smarter than an even tougher blow to his reputation, Bullseye hired gang Eric Slaughter and kidnapped Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) to lure Daredevil into a revenge fight. Daredevil defeated him again, and this repetitive despair of despair pushed him into a mental disorder. It is then revealed that this damage is partly caused by a brain tumor, which begins to cause migraine, paranoia, and hallucinations that everyone he meets is Daredevil. He escaped from prison, but was recaptured by Daredevil, and the tumor was successfully removed. The symptoms of the tumor quickly disappear, and defense lawyers can relieve him of the argument that his criminal behavior is caused solely by brain tumors. He was hired to kill Kingpin, but met with repeated failures. For some reason, this convinced Kingpin to hire him as his main killer, but he fired him on the same day when he witnessed his embarrassing defeat at the hands of Daredevil. The repeated Bullseye repeated attempts to regain this short position are the running jokes of the series Daredevil .

While in prison, he learned that Kingpin had hired a new chief killer: Elektra, Daredevil's former lover. After escaping the prison, Bullseye attacked Elektra and inflicted it on his own. This failed to convince Kingpin, who said he would only defend him if he killed Daredevil. Bullseye tries to ambush Daredevil, but their battle ends with his mortal enemy dropping him off the top of the phone wire. The multi-story falls broke Bullseye's back, paralyzing him.

During his stay in Bullseye hospital which was extended after the fall, Daredevil broke into his hospital room and forced him to participate in a variation of two men on a Russian roulette. The gun used in the game was quietly lowered, but Daredevil told Bullseye to take an even numbered turn so he would feel confident that the last shot would kill him. Bullseye has repeatedly referred to this incident as his greatest grudge against Daredevil.

Japanese scientist Lord Dark Wind freed Bullseye and took him to Japan, where he tied his bones with adamantium, thus restoring his mobility. Lord Dark Wind did this so that Bullseye would work as a mercenary for him in return, but apart from the good he did for him, Bullseye refused to work for free. He instead makes another game to regain the position of the assassin head for Kingpin, who again says he will give him a position if he kills Daredevil, knowing he will fail. Bullseye was imprisoned for several years.

Bullseye eventually escaped from prison, and then fought with Captain America. He's fighting Crossbones in an attempt to kill the Red Skull to regain his old position with Kingpin.

Bullseye then meets with Daredevil amnesiac. He takes advantage of Daredevil's amnesia by imitating him and doing robbery in an attempt to destroy his image. In one of his early robberies, he was caught by the helpless trophy wife's wife. She becomes enamored of her, and when she begs him to take her away with her, she keeps it in her hiding place as her lover, trying to flatter her by showering her with stolen money and jewelry. However, he realized that he was mentally weak and, frightened by one of his psychotic explosions, he left him. Gradually the Bullseye became so immersed in his Daredevil impersonation that he believed himself to be Daredevil, a confusion exploited by real heroes to defeat him.

Bullseye then has another run-in with Punisher when he is part of Frank's frame-up scheme that ends with Bullseye getting both hands shooting and losing a finger to the Punisher brutality. Bullseye meets Deadpool and Gambit during other long intervals where the character is rarely used.

Bullseye was hired by the Mysterio villain to attack and confuse Daredevil. In their battle, Bullseye killed the old Daredevil love flower, Karen Page, with one of his own Daredevil billy clubs.

Bullseye was recruited to steal the Identity Disc , which supposedly will have A.I.M. and has important information about the world's superheroes, along with Deadpool, Sabretooth, Vulture, and Juggernaut.

Bullseye offers to kill Daredevil for Kingpin, then enters Daredevil's apartment and tries to kill his new enemy's new boyfriend, Milla Donovan. Angered and already near the summit, Daredevil attacked Bullseye and threw it out the window. During the fight, the hero reveals to Bullseye that he knows that his real name is Lester, his mother is a prostitute, and that he never knew his father. He mocks the new killer 'Bullseye' tattoo and carves a new one on it with stone.

Bullseye searched for a recognized document confirming Daredevil's secret identity. After a brutal fight with Daredevil and Elektra, Bullseye fled into open traffic where he was hit by a truck, severely wounded.

Thunderbolts

Bullseye, along with many other criminals, was recruited into the New Thunderbolt by Iron Man and Mister Fantastic to hunt down the anti-registration superhero in the Marvel Civil War storyline. After that he was recruited by Norman Osborn into the reform team led by Moonstone. It operates invisibly and is not seen by the public. He is used as a last resort and has a nano chain inserted into his system, so if he does not obey orders, he will receive an electric shock.

Bullseye fought American Eagle after being cheated by Songbird and said that he had disabled his nano chain. During the fight, he simultaneously receives electric shocks from the nano-chain in his system on the orders of Moonstone and is attacked by American Eagle. The American eagger struck him hard, mocking him for deliberately avoiding a fight with a super-enemy, and finally breaking Bullseye's neck. As a result of the damage he suffered from an attack by a man with superhuman strength and electrocution by a nanoscale chain, Bullseye was paralyzed, unable to speak, and had suffered a severe brain injury. Bullseye is then shown running due to nanomechanical operations, then resumes killing by using a scalpel to "get some target practice". Later, he joins the Thunderbolt in their attempt to kill Moon Knight.

Bullseye with Thunderbolt as they fought the Skrulls in Washington DC. He took advantage of Andrea von Strucker who was recently raised by Moonstone to kill Andrea, and almost killed Moonstone.

Bullseye traveled with other Thunderbolts to Central Park and joined the final battle against the main Skrull army. Getting a missile launcher from Zeus, he fired a rocket through Yellowjacket Skrull's right eye, paralyzing it from involving other heroes.

Osborn ordered the Bullseye to kill the Songbird, eventually giving the Bullseye a chance to take revenge. Bullseye was nearly successful, but disabled by Pendekar Pedang who helped him escape.

Dark Avengers

As a gift from Norman Osborn for his role during the Skrull invasion, Bullseye was placed in Dark Avengers and given a costume and codename Hawkeye .

Norman Osborn hired Bullseye to eliminate Deadpool, from whom Norman stole data on "how to kill a Queen of Skrull" but the Bullseye did not work.

On the first mission of Dark Avengers, he killed Morgana le Fey (who had just died by Sentry's hand and returned) only to return to the demonic forces.

The Dark Avengers fight the naughty Hulkbuster robot, and "Hawkeye" disables the robot after killing its pilot. The robot fell, killing thirty-six civilians. When Osborn rebuked Bullseye for his part in death, Bullseye demanded praise for his murder. "Hawkeye" then came out and saved a woman from being attacked by three men. He killed them, and the woman inadvertently angered him by referring to Osborn as his "boss". After he killed him, he saw a news crew in a helicopter recording the action. He silenced the news crew by blowing up a helicopter.

Bullseye used to take his old partner, Deadpool. Deadpool finally grabs the upper hand and stabs it through the chest with a meathook. He then wakes up in the hospital and goes after Deadpool again. Deadpool easily avoids Bullseye's attack, then runs the Bullseye down, stopping with one of the vehicle tires at Bullseye's feet. Bullseye paid off from Deadpool (under the pretense that Osborn told him to do) to save himself.

Elektra pierced the Bullseye with his own arrow.

Bullseye was then given an order by Osborn to eliminate Daredevil, who had found the Hand lead. Daredevil, who is going through the necessary trials to join the Hand, and the Bullseye clash. Bullseye booby-traps a building with a hundred people in it. Daredevil continued to fight against Bullseye without realizing that the building was rigged and that the Bullseye had a detonator. When the building exploded, Bullseye fled and left Daredevil into his grief, mocking that if Daredevil had chosen to kill him, the people in the building might have been rescued.

Molecule Man turns the bullseye into a pool of water to subdue it; But as a liquid he still tried to attack Molecule Man. He was restored by Sentry.

He was also part of the team when they went to Manhattan to search Noh-Varr. Sentry finds it first but is distracted and leaves the battle then find Noh-Varr away.

Osborn then commissioned Bullseye with the task of killing Sentry's wife, Lindy. He took him for a helicopter ride, and strangled him and threw his body at sea. When Sentry questioned him about Lindy's whereabouts, Bullseye claimed he committed suicide in the countryside by jumping out of the helicopter, and Sentry flew to find him.

Shadowland

After the Siege, Bullseye is locked up and sent to the Raft. However, in the process of being moved there, he manages to kill his captor and escapes. He walks back to Hell's Kitchen and arrives at Shadowland, Daredevil fortress, and is confronted by Daredevil and a number of Hand ninjas. Bullseye was unprepared for his new cruelty as an enemy, because Daredevil ostracized both of his shoulders and then stabbed him through the heart with his own sai, the same way Bullseye killed Elektra a few years earlier. Then, a group of Hells Bikers collect funeral services (unlawful, like J. Jonah Jameson explicitly forbids him) for Bullseye. Ben Urich was dragged away, so did Danny Deaver. Deaver, however, continues to see Bullseye's vision, and it is unclear whether it is the Bullseye spirit or simply part of Deaver's psychosis. Funeral service interrupted by Daredevil and Hands and big fights broke out, almost killing Urich. Daredevil then exposes Bullseye's corpse, intending to raise him up as a faithful soldier to the Hands. The heroes stop the ceremony, preventing the rise of Bullseye.

Back

He later revealed that Bullseye was still alive when his body disappeared after the battle, but because of his injuries he became a handicap that had to rely on metal lungs to survive. For his revenge, he is expressed as the mastermind behind the actions of Klaw, Coyote, and Ikari against Daredevil. He was later discovered by the heroes, who defeated Ikari and Lady Bullseye. The warehouse where they were later destroyed, and Bullseye almost drowned in radioactive waste, leaving him wounded and blind.

During the Secret Wars storyline, Bullseye was one of the criminals who attended the Kingpin party about a raid between Earth-616 and Earth-1610.

Power and capability

Bullseye has the innate ability to throw almost any object as a projectile with remarkable accuracy and with enough power to be deadly. Some of his accomplishments include tearing someone's throat with a thrown card, spitting his or her own teeth through a human skull, throwing a paper plane onto a distant roof, and killing someone with a toothpick thrown through a window from a hundred yards away.

In addition to its ability to throw projectiles with deadly accuracy, Bullseye is also a martial arts expert and is very talented in the use of conventional weapons/edged weapons and firearms.

Bullseye has exceptional physical condition, with agility, reflexes, stamina, and professional athlete speed.

Due to the injury caused by many multilevel falls, many Bullseye bones have been reinforced with adamantium strips. It has increased its resistance to injury in unarmed combat. This reinforcement also allows Bullseye to utilize acrobatic maneuvers that are impossible for ordinary people, because their bones are protected from fractures. While Wolverine adamantium is implanted using only stolen and incomplete records on the bonding process as a guide, and thus only the mutant healing factor that enables it to survive the process, Bullseye's operation is done right by Lord Dark Wind himself, and thus includes a special herb treatment which prevents the body from being destroyed by implantation.

Bullseye has a compulsive need to learn its history, abilities, and target relationships before involving them. He uses this information to try to anticipate the movements of his opponents in battle. This coercion often crosses from professional to personal, like Bullseye's obsession with Elektra.

Due to a reciprocal head injury, Bullseye was able to sense the presence of Daredevil psychically for a short time.
