Spring Box is a geyser in the Lower Geyser Basin of Yellowstone National Park in the United States.
Spring Box is part of the Pink Cone Group. Other geysers in this group are Bead Geysers, Dilemma Geysers, Labial Geysers, Narcissus Geysers, Pink Geysers, and Pink Cone Geysers. Box Spring eruption lasts about 2 minutes and is 10 to 15 feet in height (3.0 to 4.6 m). The interval between eruptions is 10 to 90 minutes.
As the name suggests, Box Spring is a hot spring until 1983 Borah Peak earthquake triggered activity in the spring and it started to erupt. It was later discovered that Box Spring was active in the 1870s.
